Junior InterClub
The Junior Inter Club programme is a competition that enables the club juniors at a ‘young masters’ stage of development to compete in events and activities to encourage them to play, enjoy the game and learn more about their golf. The programme follows the ‘Good Sports’ Kaupapa where players are encouraged to play in a competitive and fun manner. The important outcomes from the programme and that junior players get to:
- Have fun
- Learn some skills
- Play with friends and like-minded players
Good Sports® | Aktive – Auckland Sport & Recreation - Aktive
For this reason, there is no trophy or winners announced at the end of the competition.
COACHING
The programme also offers coaching for all players undertaken through their club. Club coaches will coach each team leading into each round and the finals (funded by Auckland Golf). This will be a team coaching session aimed at course strategy, match play, course care and Stableford scoring.
